Thesis - Additive Manufacturing for instrumentation&test systems for fuel cell vehicles

Location: 8010 Graz, Austria

Your responsibilities:

  • Development of innovative concepts by combining manufacturing and measurement technologies e.g. embedding fiber optic sensor technology in additively manufactured components
  • Multi-physical simulation / analytical calculation of the design
  • Realization and construction of demonstrators (prototypes)
  • Testing of components / systems in the laboratory in Graz
  • Evaluation of laboratory and simulation results in the field

Your profile:

  • Basic knowledge of sensor technologies and additive manufacturing
  • Mastery of at least one 3D CAD software
  • Basic knowledge of electrical drive systems and CFD advantageous
  • Structured and independent way of working with willingness to learn
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English
  • For laboratory activities: Presence in Graz required

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 3.300,--.
