Software Engineer m/f/d
Are you interested in working with a young and dynamic team on challenging tasks where performance of software matters? Eager to own a topic and influence the direction of the future development of key software components? We’re looking for a software engineer for the continued development and maintenance of a C++ and Go code base. The position is a full-time position, though a reduction to 30h/week is possible. We offer a competitive salary of at least 30% above the Austrian collective bargaining agreement (hence ~EUR 3810 gross salary per month, 14 times), with higher compensation for additional qualifications. Start of employment can be negotiated, preferably Q1 2024.
Your responsibilities
- contribute to the development and maintenance of performance-critical software components
- development and implementation of test infrastructure for thorough unit and integration testing
- working in an agile and international development environment
Your profile
- completed studies in the field of computer science or software engineering, or equivalent background
- interested in system software and/or middleware development
- enthusiastic about test driven development
- well-versed in a system language and open for learning new languages; C++ or Go knowledge is a plus
- independent, self-reliant, and dependable
- eager to engage, explore, and own problems
- communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
- fluent in English; German language skills welcome but not required
