Die Position

As FEP Lead, you are a trusted thought partner to business stakeholders along the whole value chain, and have close contact with customers, where you will ensure efficient resource allocation and maximum impact along the customer journey. You role model the role of a leader as visionary, architect, catalyst and coach (VACC) and live the Roche operating principles. You support network building across the organisation to share best practices, co-create solutions that generate value for the affiliate, the enterprise and the customer, and leverage the skills and experience within the organisation. You enable your team to come up with innovative designs and solutions.

As an FEP Lead, you leverage your in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise in driving initiatives forward that are critical to delivering our strategy, and supporting your team members in their development journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will balance resource allocation across competing priorities and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities.
  • You are the Key partner for developing a coherent affiliate commercial strategy as well as commercial business related processes such as business planning, opportunity prioritisation and creative strategies for revenue generation.
  • You will ensure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions.
  • You will support the business and customers in co-creating new business models, quantifying value, and providing pricing transparency.
  • You will stimulate behaviours across the organisation aligned with financial objectives and monitor and manage customer performance over the whole contract life cycle with a profitability and outcomes based perspective.
  • You will propose & drive ideas for P&L improvement - esp. upsell opportunities, efficiency/waste improvement, risk reduction, channel filling etc.
  • You will play an active part in ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and implementing sustainable pricing strategies.
  • You will stay abreast of and scan the internal and external business landscape for trends, issues and opportunities to create value.
  • As a people leader you will create a psychologically safe environment and culture necessary for the team to be successful.

Who you are

With an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to integrate all available financial and operational information into a holistic perspective, you demonstrate a genuine interest in people, their development, and in building a successful organization.

  • Strong business and financial acumen. Experience working with and for the customer & passion for delivering tangible value for our customers, patients and the business.
  • Knowledge and expertise of the local healthcare system, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
  • Strong inspiring, communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Confident in leading and navigating complex topics and global projects.
  • Proven people leadership experience, with enterprise focus, promoting diverse and inclusive environments, and a focus on the right work for the highest impact
  • English language written and spoken & Basic German Knowledge
