Mining large datasets for cancer biomarkers and drug targets has developed into a key aspect in drug discovery. The application of innovative data integration strategies is needed for this task. Using patient datasets and computational methods cancer targets and biomarkers will be identified in the framework of this Master thesis project. The work will be part of a larger project within the group of the Cancer Cell Signaling Department in Vienna.
The internship position (10 months duration) should start ideally as soon as possible.
The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective bargaining agreement for this position is EUR 38.160,22 (full time), although the actual salary is based on your technical skills and personal competencies as well as your professional experience.
