The position
Join our Regional Cardio-Reno-Metabolic (CRM) Medical Affairs team in Vienna, Austria, as Regional Medical Affairs Manager Obesity/MASH RCV – starting immediately – and shape the medical strategy for obesity across the region.
You will work at the intersection of science, patients and healthcare systems, partnering with OPUs and global teams to translate evidence into impactful medical programs.
In this role, you will ensure that country-specific stakeholder needs and market dynamics across the RCV region are identified and analysed, and that implications for our obesity pipeline are aligned cross-functionally and fed back to the responsible global asset teams.
This role offers high visibility, broad cross-functional collaboration and extensive external stakeholder engagement across the RCV region.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop, lead and execute the RCV medical strategy for Obesity (e.g., IBP/ICP) in close alignment with global medical teams and regional stakeholders
- Provide strategic medical and scientific input across the product lifecycle (development and marketed products) and contribute to regional medical content
- Drive launch readiness and execution for new products and/or indications, ensuring alignment across functions and markets
- Analyse regional patient journeys, treatment guidelines and healthcare landscapes to identify gaps and derive strategic implications for the obesity pipeline
- Engage with external experts and stakeholders while leading regional medical projects, evidence generation activities and cross-functional customer plans
Requirements
- University degree in health sciences with at least 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company; medical degree is an asset
- Experience in the Obesity and/or Cardio-Reno-Metabolic therapeutic area, ideally with international exposure
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
- Solid understanding of clinical research, scientific data and healthcare systems, combined with strategic thinking and prioritization skills
- High level of integrity and compliance mindset (incl. PV/ADR reporting and MLR processes) as well as willingness to travel regionally and internationally

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 108.000 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
