Our Software Organization is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Building Analytics Content Owner to bring our FDD and other HVAC focused analytics to the next level.
We are building the future of smart buildings in Siemens with our Building X platform and as part of this we want to enrich this with the best-in-class analytics. This means consolidating on the existing knowledge base but also imagining and implementing the future of building analytics.

Your new responsibilities
  • Accountable for developing the strategy for smart building analytics with a focus on fault detection and diagnosis systems
  • Responsible to ensure the execution of this strategy and build a rich set of analytical content for use on our Building X Platform and by applying your engineering expertise
  • Responsible to coordinate with domain experts in HVAC across the SI B organization to develop a standard analytical approach and consolidate our knowledge base
  • Design our approaches to calculate the cost impact of faults and energy savings potential for customers using our products and services
  • Support teams building fault detection, root cause detection and AI systems for building systems with domain expertise and thought leadership on predictive maintenance

Your talents and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field with further qualifications valued
  • 3+ years of experience working with FDD and other building analytics systems including defining and deploying these analytics solutions
  • Deep knowledge of HVAC systems with a focus on how building systems are maintained, energy costs reduced, and downtime prevented. Ideally with hands on facilities experience
  • Capable to communicate ideas to non-experts and understand new approaches in fast moving fields like AI may affect building analytics
  • Structured approach to developing building analytics with an understanding of the importance of standards and documentation
  • Global role with a high level of English fluency. German is a plus

Our compensation and benefits package includes a competitive base annual salary starts at min. €63.217,70,- (fulltime based) and can substantially raise based on your already achieved education and experience levels.
