The position
We are seeking a highly motivated Lab Scientist to join our Cancer Immunology team in Vienna. You will be given the opportunity to join early-stage R&D projects directly feeding into our preclinical immunotherapy portfolio. Collaborative, well-connected teams are key to our success. Therefore, we are looking for candidates who are strong team players.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Join a research team responsible for the preclinical characterization of novel cancer immunotherapies.
- Perform tissue culture, isolation of primary immune cells, and co-culture of different cell types.
- Establish biochemical and cell-based assays for the in vitro characterization of antibody therapeutics.
- Independently execute, analyze, and document experiments.
Requirements
- A degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field (M.S. or Ph.D.).
- Prior experience with immunological techniques (e.g., flow cytometry); a background in T-cell biology is an advantage.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with good German language skills.

The minimum gross annual salary for this position is € 48,510 per year (full-time) according to the classification in the collective bargaining agreement for the chemical industry. Depending on professional experience and qualifications, we offer an overpayment.
