The position

As part of Global Business Operations Clinical Sciences team in Experimental Medicine, you will be primarily responsible for cost calculation, budget management, payment processing, and reporting for clinical trials at both regional and global level. Acting as a communication hub, you will be a close point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on matters related to cost and payment management.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Preparation of study cost calculations in close collaboration with international clinical study teams and Controlling to ensure accurate and reliable study budgets.
  • Processing payments for contract research organizations (CROs) and study sites in compliance with internal processes and guidelines, including the review of finalized contracts.
  • Ongoing monitoring and analysis of study cost development and budget performance.
  • Calculation and management of accruals/provisions in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365; experience with SAP FI is considered an advantage.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, combined with a proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Business English; German language skills are an asset.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 71.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
