The position
With immediate effect, we are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team at our Regional Center in Vienna (RCV). In this position, you will be responsible for specific areas of Central Controlling / Management Accounting. You will work independently as a functional specialist, while also being a strong team player within both the group and the department. Additionally, you will act as the Accounting to Reporting (A2R) representative for the department.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Act as a regional and local expert for an entire business process and system domain, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
- Collaborate in the overall planning process and ERP-related projects, serving as the main contact point for corporate and country finance colleagues.
- Support monthly and annual internal reporting, period-end closing procedures and the reporting process to the headquarters in Ingelheim.
- Maintain and manage master data (e.g., Cost Centers, WBS Elements, Internal Orders, Material Master Data).
- Contribute to the implementation of general reporting requirements.
Requirements
- Higher education degree in Finance or Economics with a focus on Finance or IT, or equivalent qualification through a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Expert knowledge of SAP, other finance systems, and IT, as well as strong expertise in controlling and accounting.
- Proactive problem-solver with strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills such as German or an Eastern European language are a plus.

The minimum gross annual salary for this position is € 54.000 per year (full-time) according to the classification in the collective bargaining agreement for the chemical industry. Depending on professional experience and qualifications, we offer an overpayment.
