Are you technically skilled, enjoy solving practical problems independently and prefer a varied working day instead of being based at the same location every day?
Our client is an internationally successful company specializing in high-quality furnished apartments and manages numerous properties throughout Vienna. To strengthen the local Operations Team, we are looking for an experienced and versatile Maintenance Technician / Handyman.
Important: English is the internal company language. You do not need perfect English, but you should be able to understand work instructions, write simple messages and reports, and communicate with international colleagues and guests.

Aufgabenbereich

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work in apartments
  • Perform minor plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry work
  • Troubleshoot and repair household appliances
  • Assemble and install furniture, lighting, mirrors and other apartment furnishings
  • Inspect apartments and identify and document defects
  • Coordinate external specialists for more complex repairs
  • Check and follow up on work completed by external contractors
  • Support guests with maintenance-related issues
  • Cooperate with cleaning teams during apartment inspections and handovers
  • Identify and source required spare parts and materials
  • Deliver smaller household and furnishing items to apartments throughout Vienna
  • Document completed work in the internal system in English
  • Organize your working day independently based on a predefined schedule

Gewünschte Qualifikationen

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in maintenance, repairs, facility services or a comparable technical role
  • Strong practical and general handyman skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing household appliances is an advantage
  • Knowledge of spare parts and relevant suppliers is an advantage
  • Good technical understanding and independent problem-solving skills
  • Valid category B driving licence
  • Willingness to travel between different locations throughout Vienna during the working day
  • Good German skills for communication with suppliers and external contractors
  • English skills are essential for daily internal communication
  • Comfortable using smartphones and basic digital systems
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends, while never exceeding five working days per week
