As an Associate Director in the Corporate Structured Finance team, you will be involved in the origination, structuring and execution of complex financing transactions and the optimization of capital structures for Austrian and international corporates. 
You will work in a dynamic, project-oriented investment banking environment and collaborate closely with colleagues from local and international product teams such as Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Sector/M&A Teams, Export Finance, and Treasury Solutions. 
You will take part into the entire financing process, from the origination and initial presentation of financing considerations to the client, through credit risk assessment, negotiation of terms, credit application, internal decision-making discussions, documentation and closing.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the structuring and execution of corporate financings, acquisition financings and event driven financings for Austrian and international corporate clients
  • Prepare and present credit papers, financial models, and transaction materials to internal committees and external stakeholders, including clients
  • Identify, review, and critically assess all credit-relevant aspects of a transaction
  • Lead the documentation process of a transaction, including interacting with clients, lawyers and other external stakeholders in negotiating and drafting legal documentation
  • Oversee junior team members in financial modeling, credit analysis and basic documentation topics
  • Monitor market trends and maintain up to date knowledge of debt capital markets and corporate finance activity
  • Pro-actively assist Managing Directors and Directors in deal origination

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate finance experience, of which at least 3 in acquisition finance, leveraged finance or related structured lending roles in an investment or corporate bank
  • Proven track record in executing corporate or event-driven financings
  • Advanced financial modelling and credit analysis skills
  • Deep understanding of capital structures, debt instruments and LMA documentation
  • Relevant experience in supervising and guiding junior colleagues 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

We value your experience and commitment — that’s why we discuss your salary individually during the interview process. For this position, the minimum annual gross salary is EUR 78.660,- (based on 38.5 hours per week). Depending on your qualifications and professional background, a higher salary is of course possible.
