The Model Methodology & Development department serves as the central function responsible for developing and maintaining models used in credit risk analysis — particularly regulatory models such as Pillar 1 IRB, Pillar 2, and IFRS 9. It also defines group-wide standards for model development across Erste Group.
Your Tasks
- Support the LGD & CCF team in developing and maintaining the group-wide credit risk model methodology
- Contribute to data-related topics, such as ensuring adequate data quality and consistency
- Perform ad-hoc analyses and participate in Run-the-Bank activities
- Communicate with local counterparts to ensure consistent application of the methodology across the Group
Your Background
- Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Banking and (Quantitative) Finance
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R, as well as proficiency in MS Office
- Profund knowledge of applied statistics, including multivariate data analysis and regression techniques
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional knowledge of German and/or another CEE language is an advantage
