We are hiring a Senior Technical Lead / Application Engineer with strong ownership on GEOS to drive both change delivery and operational stability. The role includes hands-on analysis and implementation, UAT readiness and go-live planning, and deep troubleshooting of GEOS issues impacting business operations.
What you'll be doing
- Own end-to-end delivery of GEOS enhancements: analysis, implementation, testing, release planning and production readiness.
- Support the UAT execution and coordinate business testing; ensure fixes progress from UAT to go-live with clear scope and effort breakdown.
- Drive incident/problem management for GEOS, including root-cause analysis and coordination with infrastructure/ops when routing/session constraints impact output/printing.
- Contribute to the GEOS modernization and cloud journey by supporting estimation and planning activities (effort, infra DEV/UAT/PROD, InfoSec, AM implications, mainframe offloading considerations).
- Provide structured communication to stakeholders (what changed, workaround, next steps, risks, and what is needed from budget/governance).
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong experience in GEOS in enterprise application engineering with accountability for Run + Change (at least 3 years).
- Professional German and English language
- Proven track record in UAT/go-live and incident handling.
What you'll get in return
To make you feel comfortable with us, we offer you a range of benefits:
- Company laptop and company mobile phone
- Flexibility in terms of time
- Restaurant or food voucher card
- Social allowances
- Public transport ticket
- Job bike
- Kindergarten Sonneninsel at the Austria Campus
- Sports, wellness and leisure activities at the UniCredit Center (Am Kaiserwasser)
- Holistic health management
- Social fund for particularly challenging life situations
- Employee discounts
- Group supplementary insurance
The compensation for this position is based on your individual experience and expertise. In line with the applicable collective bargaining agreement and based on a 38.5 hour work week, the minimum annual gross salary for this role is EUR 65,000.
