Our client in the field of data storage and data warehousing is delivering a long-term international project and relies on your expertise in requirements analysis. The role will be performed primarily remotely within the European Economic Area (EEA); occasional assignments in Budapest are planned.

Your responsibilities:

• You gather, analyse and structure business and technical requirements in the data warehouse environment.
• You coordinate requirements with stakeholders and business departments across different organisational levels.
• You facilitate discussions in case of differing requirements and support the development of viable, consensus-based solutions.
• You work with databases and data-related topics.
• You use SQL for data analysis and other data-related tasks.
• You quickly familiarise yourself with new business and technical subject areas.
• You handle requirements in a solution-oriented manner while keeping the overall system in mind.
• You actively contribute to an agile project environment.
• You proactively and independently contribute to the further development of the project.

Your profile:

• Experience working with databases.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• A strong affinity for working with data and excellent analytical skills.
• A solution-oriented mindset and way of working.
• The ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new and complex topics.
• Experience with agile working methods.
• Strong communication skills across different organisational levels.
• Experience in facilitating discussions and building consensus where requirements differ.
• A proactive, independent way of working with an understanding of cross-functional system interrelationships.
• A high level of commitment, initiative and strong team orientation.
• Excellent English language skills; German language skills are an advantage.
• Ideally, expertise in the financial sector or the willingness to build relevant domain knowledge.
