The department ICAAP, within the Enterprise-wide Risk Management (ERM) division, ensures group-wide risk portfolio steering based on a holistic, cross-risk oversight of risks. ICAAP supports the Erste Group’s management with a robust enterprise-wide risk management framework to ensure that the bank group has the capacity to bear its acquired risks. The main focus areas of the unit are the Risk Materiality Assessment (RMA), Risk Bearing Capacity Calculation (RCC), Risk Appetite Statement (RAS), limit steering and defining the risk strategy. In addition, it covers CEE as well as entities in Austria.
Your Tasks
- Support the team in in-depth analysis on selected cross risk issues and conduct necessary analysis on key drivers of risk profile development via established tools and tools being under development
- Coordinate the inputs from several entities and make necessary reconciliations
- Actively participate in development of analytical ICAAP tools and assist the team in preparing presentations for senior and top management as well as regulators
- Support management in day-to-day business
Your Background
- Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in banking, economics, business administration, information technology, mathematics or statistics, and basic knowledge about risk management and financial/banking products
- Willing to learn and have good analytical, administrative and communication skills, interested to work in an international and highly motivated team, and want to get a deeper understanding of Risk Management
- Flexible and able to work independently, but also act as a team player
- Possess very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or have advanced IT knowledge (SQL, VBA…), fluent in German and English; knowledge of another CEE language is an advantage
