Professorship (m/f/x) for International Business and Export

You will organise and coordinate courses in the areas of International Business, Marketing and Sales and hold them on your own responsibility. As a supervisor, you will coach our students during their final theses. You will be responsible for the content design, management and coordination of interdisciplinary (research) projects and develop, implement and evaluate new didactic methods. In addition to taking on management tasks in teaching, studies and research, you will also play an active role in organisational development. Your tasks will include participating in conferences and writing high-quality publications as well as helping to build relationships with external partners.

Administrative work specific to the utilisation group, e.g. school visits and co-organisation of the Cross-cultural Business Conference, will complement your area of activity at the FH Upper Austria.

You have a doctorate in a subject area such as international business, marketing or sales – or a doctorate in a non-related subject combined with several years of relevant professional experience. In addition, you have teaching qualifications and experience in university teaching. You have proven knowledge of applied research, minimum 8 years (from completion of doctorate) of international management experience and/or practical experience in the field of industrial services and sustainable innovations. You are familiar with the acquisition of research projects and corresponding funding, as well as the development of research projects and the management of research teams. You are comfortable building and strengthening networks. You enjoy imparting knowledge and interacting with students, have a very good command of English (good German skills are an advantage) and are willing to contribute to the further development of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria with commitment and innovative ideas in the Global Sales and Marketing programme network.
